Handmade by the very talented Katie Almond in her studio in Rutland Water her work is inspired by nostalgia and vintage textiles.
These porcelain Gingerbread house, come with a base and look amazing lit up with a tealight. All are unique made by hand using a variety of slip casting and hand building techniques.

Each gingerbread house is unique, so your gingerbread house will not be exactly like the one in the photograph.
I will be opening every day for the first week, and then see how it goes. I’m so excited to be able to get back to the shop and see everyone again.

My thoughts have been with you all in these difficult times, I am lucky enough to be old enough to have been vaccinated! And will be testing myself twice a week. I’ve cleaned the shop to an inch of its life, and the shop will be a well-ventilated with hand sanitiser available. I will be masked and I ask customers to mask unless they are exempt.
